Over the years, H&M continued to grow and in the 1980’s expanded its heat treating facility to include a liquid salt bath nitriding process (Ferritic Nitrocarurizing). This led to further expansion, with the opening of a facility in Fairfield, Ohio near Cincinnati in 1998.
In January 2000 due to increasing business demands Mormac Company was formed as a separate entity. Since that time Mormac Company has continued to provide quality heat treating and black oxide services to our clients.
Currently occupying 20,000 sq feet of industrial space in Akron Ohio, Mormac Company has worked hard to establish themselves as the premiere commercial heat treating company specializing in the hardening and flatting of Outer in Inner Diameter steel washers. Along with this service Mormac Company is working to be a leading provider of black oxiding services.
